Our Softouch series computers are designed with NEMA 4X enclosures to withstand a wide range of temperatures and washdown requirements, IP-69 connectors for USB, ethernet, and serial ports, resistive touchscreen that can be used while wearing PPE or in a wet environment, mSATA SSD hard drives for speedy imaging, and customizable configurations to meet your serial, USB, or ethernet port needs. In addition, our Softouch systems utilize industrial motherboards that are designed to provide consistent, reliable performance in harsh and rugged environments.
All Softouch models, apart from the Softouch PC Enclosure, also include a built-in UPS with battery backup and automatic controlled shutdown on low power to ensure data integrity, even in the face of power failure.

Automatic controlled shutdown only works with Process Integration, Inc. software and drivers.
The Flex accepts a PC of your choosing, so its processor, memory, storage and operating system are set by the PC fitted rather than by the enclosure. The specification shown is what we supply as standard.
